Brothers and Sisters of Local 591,

With the Contract Economic Extension that went into effect in January of this year, along with the Settlement & Clarification Letters incorporated into the existing agreements, some Members have expressed an interest in Local 591 purchasing and distributing printed versions of the current TWU-IAM Association Collective Bargaining Agreements, which for TWU Local 591 would include the M&R, MLS, & MTS contracts.

As a reminder, your Local 591 Board was notified by the TWU International near the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic that the company was granted relief by the TWU-IAM Association leadership from the Article 35 provision requiring that the company provide each employee with a spiral-bound copy of their agreement.

Before your Local 591 Executive Board seeks quotes for purchasing Union printed contract books, your Board wanted to gauge the interest from you, the Membership.  

Your Board is asking you to provide us with input on whether you prefer a printed booklet of your updated Collective Bargaining Agreement, or if you prefer to use the on-line/digital version available on Local 591 website.
