In preparation for the upcoming contract negotiations, your Local 591 Executive Board is seeking input from Members. We are asking for your thoughts on how you believe your Negotiation Committee needs to work to modify, change, or improve your current Joint Collective Bargaining Agreements for the existing M&R, MLS, and MTS contract books.

TWU Testifies at Congressional Hearing on FAA Reauthorization

TWU Local 591 Member, and current TWU International Executive Director, testified at the Congressional House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure on Thursday November 30th, 2023, focused on the importance of the FAA Reauthorization Act to TWU Members, and also the importance of the Global Aircraft Maintenance Safety and Improvement Act.

Article 6K Grievance Settlement Agreement

Attached is the signed Settlement Agreement dated 11-28-2023 resolving the open grievances regarding vendors accomplishing Unscheduled Aircraft Maintenance. The Local is currently working to provide Local 591 Members more detail and explanation regarding this settlement, both in writing, and also at the upcoming 2024 1st Quarter Membership meetings.
