Local 591 has already been contacted by Members and fellow airline workers excited about the claim that they won't be paying federal taxes on overtime with the recently approved federal budget Bill (H. Res 1, 119th Cong. (2025)) passed in the House and Senate. Unfortunately, we have had to explain to them that the provision in the final version passed by the House and Senate only covers Fair Labor Standards Act covered workers (Sec. 70202 § 225.“c”.1), who will be eligible for this provision in the final Bill when signed.

Update on Local 591 Shirt & Hoodie Size Requests: Because some Members have reached out and asked for the ability to select one size for their T-Shirt, and another size for their Hoodie, we’re adjusting the size update schedule just a little. We will have two groups of time for you to choose sizes, the first time-frame for your T-Shirts, and the second time-frame for your Hoodies.
